Dear Parents, This will be our final newsletter of the school year. It has been a real joy watching your children grow and learn throughout year. Thank you for your trust and support as we work together for the success of your children. The last day of school is Thursday, June 22. Report Cards will be sent home with your child on Tuesday, June 20. If your child is absent on the 20th, you may pick up their Report Card at the office in the Main Building. KG 1 would like to announce Water Play Days! Tuesday, June 13 - Water Play Wednesday, June 14 - Water Play Please send your child in clothes for water play (swim suit, shorts, etc.). Your child will also need a change of clothing, and a towel. Ramadan School Timing: 8:05 am-12:20 pm Pick up your students on time as by law staff will leave also. Check the ECE Weebly for pictures and updates: emskhor-ece.weebly.com The weather is hot. Remember to send plenty of water in a reusable, durable water bottle with your child every day! No disposable plastic bottles. They must be well hydrated to stay healthy and be able to participate in all school activities. Your child needsa minimum of 9 hours of sleep each night. Establish a night time routine at home to provide predictability and consistency for your child. Adequate sleep before coming to school ensures that he/she is ready to learn. Dear Parents, Thank you to all the parents that attended the Year End Celebration and Learn With Us events. The children worked very hard and were extremely proud to express all their learning and new found confidence through these events. We thank you for the continued trust and support as we guide our students to improve and learn! Ramadan Kareem to everyone that celebrates this holy month. Dear Parents, We are well in Term 3 and the ECE has some fun events planned! Your child will be sending home an invitation to our 4th annual Year End Celebration Wednesday, May 17th 2017. The students have been working hard getting ready for this event. Also Monday, May 22nd will be our third annual Learn With Us. Your child will get to be the teacher for the evening. If you have not already done so please e-mail to me with your preferred time slot: 5:30pm-5:50pm, 6:00pm-6:20pm, 6:30pm-6:50pm. Please note that there are a limited number of slots for each time period so it will be based on a first to communicate first serve basis.
