Dear Parents, Welcome back to school. We have had a wonderful week back in KG 2 and the children settled in quickly! Yes, term 2 has begun and we are busy with a lot of new information to introduce and discuss with our learners. We are practising our motor skills daily, as well. Our main goal is for the students to love school as well as absorb information on a wide variety of subjects in a fun and developmentally appropriate manner. Our children are excited to see the garden grow. Some plants have flowers and they are blossoming into fruits and vegetables. Hopefully, we should be able to harvest some of our produce in the next few weeks. As many of you are aware, we have finished our parent conferences in the last term. As a result of that, there will be NO SCHOOL on Thursday, January 12th due to Conferences at the main ‘big school’. Following is a summary of the topics covered from 3rd January to 11th January. Dear Parents, It was an exciting week for our students learning about the process of PHOTOSYNTHESIS! Ask your child about soil, air and sunlight as well as what a plant needs to live and grow! You will be amazed to listen to the new vocabulary on plant life!! With the changes in weather, viruses and bacteria can be easily transmitted resulting in your child falling ill. If you feel your child is sick please keep them at home. We want to keep school a safe place for everybody by preventing unnecessary germs from being passed on to other students and teachers. Next week on Wednesday, 30th November let your child bring or wear ‘ORANGE’. Please no toys or any electronic gadgets. The table below shows a summary of the teaching points which we have covered from 13th November to 24th of November. You can Google the educational websites for the respective subject & lesson for any further reference.
