Dear Parents, In honor of the upcoming Qatar National Day we are excitedly preparing for a falcon visit! We will begin our study of the falcon and other Qatar National symbols in the upcoming weeks in order to ensure that the children are introduced to the things that make their host country special and unique. We will have a class celebration for National Day in school on Thursday, December 15. Your child is invited to bring in a treat to share with their classmates and to wear traditional clothing or Qatar colors (maroon and white). Term 1 is coming to an end the winter break will be from Friday, December 16-Monday, January 2. Please note that the first day back is Tuesday, January 3. If your child is sick please keep them at home. Your child will not benefit from coming to school while distressed due to sickness. Also, unnecessary germs will be passed on to other students and teachers. Please note that toys, money, jewelry, and other valuable items belong at home. If your child misplaces these items we cannot guarentee it will be found or returned.
