Dear ECE Parents: We have had several cases of lice this past week in both ECE and big school. Please review the policy below and click on the attachments that were sent to your email from the Qatar Ministry of Health. LICE: Lice happen, and lice spread. Our school nurse does regular “lice checks” at ECE. If a child comes to school with lice, it will spread. If lice are found on your child, it is our policy that you will be called to pick them up from school immediately. The nurse will provide you with written instructions on how to eliminate the lice. After treatment, bring your child to the school nurse, not to ECE. The nurse will give the all clear for your child to return to class. I have attached a directive from the Qatar Health department for your review. It is our hope to create a strong partnership between home and school, working together for the health, safety and success of all our students. We need and appreciate your understanding and support. As always, feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns. Shukrun, Ms. Pasha Comments are closed.
