Dear Parents,
Thank you to all the parents that attended the Parent/Teacher Conferences October 17/18. This was a great opportunity for us all to communicate and establish clear objectives for your child this school year. Please note that if you have any further concerns feel free to e-mail your child’s teacher. Many parents had questions regarding Arabic. Ms. Wafa’a will meet with the KG 1 classes in November after the break to clarify any questions or concerns that you may have regarding Arabic expectations. There are many students coming to school sleepy. Your child needs a minimum of 9 hours of sleep each night. Start a night time routine at home to provide predictability and consistency for your child. Adequate sleep before coming to school ensures that he/she is ready to learn. It is important to send healthy food to school. Candy, chocolate, cakes, chips, nuts and sugary drinks are not permitted for lunch or snack. Together we will teach the students healthy habits that will last a lifetime. If your child is sick please keep them at home. Your child will not benefit from coming to school while distressed due to sickness. Also, unnecessary germs will be passed on to other students and teachers. We want to keep school a safe place for everybody. Below are the subjects which have been discussed thus far: Theme/Science All About Me: My Body; The Sense of Touch; Seeds Phonics The letter and Phonetic Sound: s, a, t Math Number: 1, 2, 3 Shape: Circle, Square, Triangle Color: Red, Blue, Yellow Sincerely, Ms. Brittani Comments are closed.
